The heart of the Kombud computer control system at the WOŚP auction

Andrzej Bartosiewicz

Kombud Group once again plays with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. This year, at the WOŚP auctions, the company has put up the "heart" of control systems and a proposal for exceptional experiences filled with sporting emotions. Everything is part of the 34th Finale of WOŚP, taking place under the slogan "Healthy bellies of our children," supporting the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in the youngest.

The unique PCB board that can be auctioned off is a symbolic "heart" of railway traffic control systems, designed and produced daily at Kombud Group. Every year, the company produces about 30 thousand such electronic packages, ensuring the proper functioning of systems for railways, metros, and onboard controllers for rail vehicles.

What makes the board unique is the neon heart that shines with intense red light, referring to the well-known symbol of WOŚP. This decoration will work well both in the office and in a home setting. By bidding on the board, the winner supports the Orchestra and becomes the owner of the symbolic heart of Kombud's systems. For safety reasons, the board put up for auction is symbolic and differs from the devices used in railway infrastructure.

– I am proud that once again we can support the Great Orchestra by giving it what is most important in our systems, namely the symbolic heart of the control systems designed and produced in Poland. Additionally, together with the winner of the second auction, we will watch an exciting match of Radomiak – says Artur Marcinkiewicz, CEO of Kombud Automation Plants.

Sporting emotions in the box of Kombud Automation Plants

This year's auctions also include propositions for sports lovers. The producer is offering for auction two places in the Kombud Automation Plants' box during the match between Radomiak Radom and Arka Gdynia, which will start on January 30, 2026, at 20:30.

The meeting will also be special due to the fact that for the first time, the side stands of the Radomiak stadium are set to be opened for the public. The places in the box provide comfortable conditions and the opportunity to experience football emotions from a completely different perspective – in the company of the Kombud team. The auction is an opportunity to combine support for WOŚP with an unforgettable sporting evening.

Kombud Group has been involved in social and charitable initiatives for years, believing that modern railways, like the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, connect people and have a real impact on improving the quality of life.
