Zakłady Automatyki Kombud S.A. is one of the leaders in the market for railway traffic control systems. Over more than 30 years of operation, Kombud has implemented over 200 computer-based station systems and more than 2000 traffic safety systems at railway crossings.
Kombud's computer systems manage traffic, including on the Central Railway Mainline (CMK), the Warsaw railway junction stations, the Broad-Gauge Steel Line, the Bogdanka mine, the factory siding of the Kozienice Power Plant, as well as the longest in Poland – a 200 km stretch of line managed from one Local Control Center.
The company conducts a wide research and development program, which has enabled the creation of a full portfolio of railway traffic control systems.
We are one of the leaders in the railway traffic control systems market. Over nearly 30 years of operation, we have obtained nearly 50 patents, a stable market position, and the trust of the most demanding Clients. Currently, we employ around 300 employees, including over 200 automation and electronics engineers.
