Metroprojekt is a company with over 70 years of tradition in the designing and engineering services for buildings, transport infrastructure, railway and metro installations and systems.

The key experience is the work carried out for the Warsaw Metro. In total, the company created several dozen projects, according to which the first metro line and part of the stations and tunnels of the second line were built.

In the 1980s, Metroprojekt acquired and implemented new technologies in Poland - metro systems. Currently, it is acquiring and implementing the High-Speed ​​Rail system in Poland, implementing projects for its three key elements.

Metroprojekt was the first company in Poland to obtain a construction permit for the high-speed tunnel in Łódź, which is the most advanced element of the country’s planned high-speed rail network.  

The next element is the development of an exit from Warsaw towards Łódź as part of the "Y" line. The project covers over 60 km of railway line with a maximum speed of 350 km/h, including a 10-kilometer tunnel that will be built under Warsaw using TBM technology, with a design speed of 250 km/h.

Metroprojekt is also the leader of the consortium that is preparing the design concept for the 2x25kV power supply system along with its connection to the National Energy System. It will be the target system for the HSR and the target system for the entire railway network in Poland.

Metroprojekt's solutions are based on an interdisciplinary approach to projects and a team composed of specialists with many years of experience.

Metroprojekt offers the development of comprehensive engineering documentation for railway traffic management and control systems. It has an experienced design and engineering team in the field of computer and relay systems, interfaces and integration of various types of devices. It has references in the area of ​​unusual and specialized solutions used, among others: at stations and industrial sidings, fast urban rail and metro. By cooperating with scientific and research units, it develops the latest trends and technologies regarding the ETCS system, interface standardization, BIM technology and automation in design, as well as cybersecurity.
