Name:
Metroprojekt Sp. z o.o.
Metroprojekt is a company with a 70-year tradition in designing building objects, transport infrastructure, installations, and railway and metro systems.
A key position in the company's experience consists of works carried out for the Warsaw Metro. A total of several dozen projects were developed by the company, according to which the first line of the Metro and part of the stations and tunnels of the second line were built.
In the 1980s, Metroprojekt acquired and implemented new technologies in Poland – metro systems. Currently, it is acquiring and implementing the High-Speed Rail system in Poland, realizing projects for its three key elements.
As the first company in Poland, Metroprojekt obtained a building permit for the HS Rail – the tunnel in Łódź, which is the most advanced implementation element of the system.
The next element is the development of the route from Warsaw towards Łódź as part of the "Y" line. The project encompasses over 60 km of railway line with a maximum speed of 350 km/h, including a 10-kilometer tunnel that will be built under Warsaw using TBM technology, with a design speed of 250 km/h.
Metroprojekt is also the leader of a consortium preparing the design concept for the 2x25kV power supply system along with its interface to the National Power System. It will be the target system for HS Rail and directional for the entire railway network in Poland.
The solutions of Metroprojekt are based on an interdisciplinary approach to projects and on a team consisting of specialists with many years of experience.
Metroprojekt offers the development of comprehensive project documentation in the field of railway traffic management and control systems. It has an experienced project and expert team in the area of computer and relay systems, interfaces, and integration of various devices. It possesses references in the area of atypical and specialized solutions used, among others, at stations and industrial sidings, rapid urban rail and metro. By collaborating with research and scientific units, it develops the latest trends and technologies concerning the ETCS system, standardization of interfaces, BIM technology, and automation in design as well as cybersecurity.
