35 years of Kombud Group. IXL Talks at the Jacek Malczewski Museum

Behind us is the 35th anniversary of Kombud, which was an event that combined a summary of our activities up to now with a look into the future.
The Jacek Malczewski Museum in Radom became a space for discussion on the development of technology, the role of Polish competence, and the directions in which transport is heading today. This extraordinary setting was not accidental either u2013 Jacek Malczewski, like Kombud, originally came from Radom. Even before the official part, guests had the opportunity to tour the artist's exhibition, and thus u2013 connect the world of technology with the space of culture.
The program featured presentations and conversations with invited guests. The most prominent topics related to building strong, globally recognized technology brands and the need to speak boldly about the achievements of Polish companies. Poland's role as a creator of modern solutions is growing, also in the context of the space sector and technology transfer between industries.
The anniversary was a moment of reflection. Over its 35 years, Kombud Group has implemented systems for more than 350 railway stations and approximately 3,000 level crossing systems, and its solutions function today throughout the country u2013 in passenger, freight, and urban traffic.
The name of the event refers to the concept of interlocking (IXL) u2013 railway traffic control systems that ensure the safety of railway infrastructure and form the foundation of our business.
We are developing, among other things, technologies related to the automation of railway traffic control as well as modern control systems compliant with the European EULYNX standards. At the same time, we participate in projects shaping the development of transport, including High-Speed Rail.
The guiding theme of the event was the number 35, but equally important was looking into the future u2013 including the readiness of infrastructure for speeds up to 350 km/h, which represents one of the development paths of modern railways.
The anniversary was also an opportunity to recall the journey the company has made u2013 from a small team to an organization numbering more than 700 people today, executing projects all over Poland.
During the event, we were honored with the Pro Mazovia award for our contribution to the region's development.
And what else have we ourselves learned over these years? That technology is not just about implementations and projects, but above all about collaboration u2013 among teams, engineers, designers, partners, and business counterparties, with whom we jointly build further solutions.
